1. Purpose
This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of Pocket Attorney may request deletion of their account and associated data, and what information may be retained by Forsythe Development for legal, security, operational, and accounting purposes.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Pocket Attorney account directly within the app by opening the Delete Account screen, entering your password, and confirming the request.
If you cannot access the app, you may also contact us at PocketAttorney@outlook.com and request account deletion. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.
3. What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted
When your deletion request is processed, your Pocket Attorney account is disabled and access tokens associated with the account are revoked so you can no longer sign in using that account.
We also remove or disconnect certain account-linked content and records, including device registrations and user-generated records such as advertisements, repositories, reports, reviews, tips and suggestions, and contact submissions associated with that account.
If your account has an active Pocket Attorney subscription entitlement in our system, that access is ended as part of the deletion process.
4. Information We May Retain
We may retain limited information where retention is reasonably necessary to comply with Jamaican law, resolve disputes, enforce our legal terms, protect against fraud or abuse, maintain security, or satisfy tax, accounting, payment, or audit obligations.
Examples may include transaction history, subscription records, and minimal account identifiers needed to document that a deletion request was fulfilled or to prevent misuse of the service.
5. Subscription and Billing Notice
Deleting your Pocket Attorney account does not automatically cancel any recurring subscription that is managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. If you subscribed through a mobile app store, you must also manage cancellation through your Apple or Google account settings, subject to the store's own billing rules.
6. Processing Time
In-app deletion requests are generally processed when the request is confirmed through the authenticated account. Requests submitted by email may take additional reasonable time because we may need to verify identity before acting on them.
